I love sweets like donuts, and though I seldom have one… I would prefer not to share it with anyone (except perhaps my dogs). I also love to watch birds enjoy their treats, and particularly love outdoor dining where the birds will come and steal things from your plate. Usually, those birds are English sparrows, but in this instance… I thought a colorful little male House finch would be more fun. He has claimed his prize, and he isn’t planning to share it with any other birds, or pesky human.
