“Sculpture in the Park” (Loveland, CO): 2023 will be my 17th year of participation. 2024 will be my 10th year serving as a “mentor” for artists new to the show.

“NatureWorks” Show & Sale (Tulsa, OK):  I participated in this show for thirteen years and was the featured artist in 2015.

The 43rd Annual Art and the Animal Exhibition and National Tour held at the Hiram Blauvelt Art Museum in
Oradell, NJ for “Charlie and the Bug”

AVMA Award (American Veterinary Medical Association) at the International Exhibition on Animals in Art at
Louisiana State University for “Charlie and the Bug”.  “Charlie and the Bug” appeared on the cover of the
June 2003 the AVMA Journal.

Charlotte Dunwiddy Memorial Award for Animal Sculpture, Pen & Brush’s 16th Annual Sculpture & Medallic
Art Exhibition, New York, NY for “Spring Chicken”

Wayne Pomeroy Award at 2004 Sculptures in the Streets IV in Mesa, AZ for “Best Seat in the House”.

“Whisper on the Wind” (2004-2005) and “Fast Food Take-out” (2005-2006) were exhibited at the National
Geographic Society in Washington, DC

The Marilyn Newmark Memorial Award 58th Annual Society of Animal Artists’ Exhibition for  “Tea for Two?”

National Geographic Society, Washington, DC – 2005 – 2006.  Two pieces were selected for year-long installation in their sculpture garden.

 

Memberships

Society of Animal Artists; Signature member since 2003.  Executive board member since 2004.  Served as Board President from 2008 – 2013.  Have served as Treasurer since 2014.

American Women Artists; Signature member since 2004; was promoted to Master Signature member in 2016.  Served on the Executive board from 2014 – 2019, and as Treasurer from 2015 – 2019.
