Overcoming Life’s Obstacles

This little Ornate box turtle has some obstacles in his path to wherever he is going… just as most of us do at intervals in our lives. He is pushing forward with determination and will soon be past those rocks and back on an easier path to his destination.

It is my wish that the concept behind this sculpture will encourage the viewer to take on whatever life throws at them, whether it is health issues, something standing in the way of their accomplishing their dreams, or a devastating loss… and move forward with courage and hope for the future.
